Proficiency Codes

This screen is used to add codes and descriptions for proficiency codes. Proficiency codes are used as a measure of competencies gained by an employee.

Prerequisites

  • No prerequisites.

Rules and Guidelines

  • Proficiency Codes require 40 characters or less.
  • Proficiency Codes appear in the People Competencies section in the Talent module.

Field Information

ClosedCode*

This field displays a 40-character description of the proficiency.

ClosedDefault Proficiency

This field displays the default proficiency.

ClosedDefault Proficiency Value

Enter the value to be placed on this proficiency; this will determine what order the codes appear in (e.g. Basic = Level 1, Good = Level 2, Excellent = Level 3).

ClosedComments

This field displays further information about the proficiency.
